Fighting From
Personal Experience
Box of Hope was born from one woman's battle with cancer and her refusal to let that fight end with her own survival.
Strength Turned Into Purpose
Box of Hope was founded by Megan Mulvey — a cancer survivor who knows firsthand what it means to fight for your life. After her own battle, Megan refused to simply move on. Instead, she channeled her experience, her community, and her love of fitness into something bigger than herself.
She launched Box of Hope with one mission: use our collective strength to fight for children and families facing pediatric cancer. Because no child should fight alone. And no family should face that battle without support.
In just two years, Box of Hope has grown from an idea into a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, raising funds, hosting community events, and delivering direct financial assistance to families in their most desperate hours.
Our Mission
Use our strength to fight for children and families facing pediatric cancer — through fitness, fundraising, and community.
Our Vision
A world where no family faces pediatric cancer alone — where communities rally, resources flow, and hope is always present.
Our Values
Strength, community, purpose, transparency, and relentless compassion. We show up — for every family, every time.
The Woman Behind The Mission
Megan Mulvey
Cancer survivor and founder of Box of Hope, Megan turned her own fight into a mission to unite the fitness community and support children and families facing pediatric cancer.
Her journey gave her a perspective most people never have — the knowledge of what it feels like to face mortality and the burning desire to make sure others don't face it alone. She built Box of Hope to honor that experience and channel it into something that fights for the most vulnerable fighters: children.
